A Catholic Behavior Analyst?
If you ask Catholics if a devout Catholic can be a behavior analyst (knowing what is espoused in the field of behavior analysis), then the term “Catholic behavior analyst” may seem like an oxymoron. If you ask behavior analysts who hold on to a radical behaviorist philosophy and know that Catholics believe in free will, then the term “Catholic behavior analyst” may seem like an oxymoron to them, as well.
Yet, here I am trying to continue doing the work that I do as a Catholic and as a behavior analyst.
